Earlier, we reported on UGLA’s active participation in the implementation of the IT Ukraine Association’s «Enemy Software» project, as we are a member of the working group of this initiative. Now we have the first official results of the work of the entire committee team.
The National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education has analysed the current situation with the use of banned software. After the research, it was decided to provide a strong recommendation that the use of software associated with the aggressor country is unacceptable.
This decision is due to the fact that some higher education institutions still continue to use 1C and its derivatives, despite the current sanctions. The purchase of software from the enemy has a negative impact on Ukraine’s cybersecurity, posing a national threat to our country. The official statement says that IT Ukraine will continue to cooperate with the National Agency to eradicate the use of hostile software.
UGLA ERP has repeatedly joined projects to support higher education institutions and has several successful partnerships, as education reform and improvement is one of the priorities for our team. We provide everything you need for a comfortable and quick transition: we analyse your situation, help you transfer data, and ensure easy adaptation to UGLA.
